Media art that turns datasets into visual narratives with Houdini. The structure is always driven by the data itself, built procedurally and rendered without generative AI.
My MFA thesis piece. It maps South Korea's Consumer Price Index against its rapidly ageing population, using KOSIS statistics to drive procedural geometry and VEX-based lighting.
The title refers to the balance a changing society has to find to stay in harmony.
2nd Place, 7th Dream Big Art Awards (DB World)
Seoul's landmarks and street life reimagined through a retro 8-bit lens, built from heavily stylised and composited footage in After Effects.
Screened on the media walls of the DB World lobby and the Seoul City Hall media art gallery.
